Hey guys! Happy to be back 🙂
… and with a new site. Now we have our own shop here too, so it’s all in one place.
During the last year we moved a house and partially studio. It took a huge part of our time and we barely had any for the mountain of wanna-do-things on our list.  And the list is long, as you can imagine.
One of the things on from the list was to answer your questions.
And here’s a revelation!
A question we got on Etsy was from a lady that was in love with our work and wanted to purchase few collections to create something, but didn’t have any idea how to go with it. She asked if we have a book or something to guide her. It got me thinking about all the people that love to craft and could use a little help to find a way with graphics.
Starting with something simple but important. Raster vs. Vector and their file formats. We do this because many customers have come asking that we send them a vector EPS files because the guy/gal at the print shop said so. After such message I usually need relaxing tea or something stronger and don’t like the guy/gal from the print shop very much. To put it softly.
Here’s why – vector EPS will give them effortlessly good results. No need to do much other than put the file to print. They’re probably tired of people going with tiny images saved from the image search of Google, that ask to print a 13”x16” and frame it to hang in the living room. The quality would be most likely dreadful and the customer will be disappointed in their service. Why go through all this and not ask for the guaranteed-to-work-without-hassle?
Believe me, you don’t have to have vector EPS to get high quality print. What you need to know are basic things about images and printing. And here we start with the first question – what the heck are raster and vector and where to find them.
It is important to us that you use the resources we make with ease and get the best out of them. Please, feel free to post in the comments any particular questions you might have about that. We’ll do our best to cover all the aspects of working with graphic assets of various types and we’ll try to answer all your questions.
Here you go What the heck are raster and vector and where to find them?

Awww, thank you so much, Mabp! For your purchase and for your kind words, that made my heart sing 🙂 The site is not finished yet, but better done than perfect, right? Love your idea of offering digital greeting cards! It’s so much more easier to print at home these days with all the various papers and tools available. Wishing you best of luck and happy Baba Marta!
